    Happy Bloggy Birthday! I didn't sub too much when I started teaching but I did it enough to know that it's WAY harder than having a class. This I know for sure! Once I arrived after being called late (and getting lost on the way) to no lesson plans or materials. I ended up giving each student a blank paper and instructed them to draw objects that I listed one at a time (sun, house, tree, cloud), but passing their paper to the right after each item. When the paper eventually came back to them they had a collaborative drawing to color. That was my emergency idea for new classes!
