Ready to go and be hidden!
A dollar in the girl aisle by the puzzles.
A dollar in a counting book. Appropriate!
So I hid a dollar in the arts and crafts, a dollar in the boys' aisle, the girls' aisle, the counting book, and one in the teacher aisle. It was so much fun. I never got to see someone get a dollar, but that's alright, it was so fun hiding them. It felt like a secret mission and I didn't want to get caught. This lady and her son walked by a dollar a few times. Another time this woman was right in front of it. But no one ever got it!
Then it was off to quinoa at the health store because it was way cheaper there. And then off to another grocery store. I saw one of my students and we were just grinning at each other! I also ran into an old classmate and we struck up a conversation. Then I ran down to my friend's store and gave a worker a hug and got my box for Saturday Market tomorrow.
I came home and baked these babies.
A box of spice cake mix and a can of pumpkin and I made 24 mini cupcakes. Delish!
My random day and random acts of kindess. Sometimes you have to have those random days :)
Oh, how fun! We once sent our faculty out into the community and one of the things they had was a five dollar bill. Their task was to find someone who needed it and give it to them. My favorite was the man at the laundromat who actually danced for joy at having received his laundry $.
