This week I decided to try my hand at a project I've seen on Pinterest that requires no sewing. Which is great, because I can't sew.
This is from Babbling Abby over at the Inspired Apple.
Super adorable right? And no sewing!
Materials needed:
- Fabric
- Ribbon
- Heat Bond
- Iron
- Scissors
My fabric and Heat Bond are from Walmart. Ribbon from Dollar Tree. The fabric came as a set.
Hopped online and printed out an isosceles triangle and then cut out all the pendants I wanted.
I put the heat bond on the backside of the ribbon and held on for a few seconds, peeled off the paper and put the fabric pendant (remember you're doing it backwards so you want the opposite side) and then pressed down with my iron again, a little longer. And repeat until you are done.
Isn't it super adroable? The colors go with my bedroom decor too.
Love the stripes!
Love it! I just talked about making one!!

That turned out GREAT, Tanja. This is exactly the type of project I need. I have a NEW sewing machine sealed in a box in my garage. It hasn't seen the light of day in ten (or more?) years.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the motivation. This might make it to my To Do list...
