I LOVE Heather! I would love to win the C.D. cd!
ReplyDeleteI do not use CD in my classroom. But after reading Heather's blog, I have purchased the book to read this summer and hopefully start incorporating it into my classroom next year.

I finish up a year long bookstudy/training on it tomorrow.. some of it worked.. some didnt but I think as I get better at using it, it will get better.
ReplyDeleteThose of you interested in studying.. They have said multiple times that it takes a good 2-3 years to fully implement it... and one thing we have done is attend a training by our district on CD as a team. and one of the tricks when you make a mistake is the other person says "Oppps You're Beautiful" because we all make mistakes and you have to just admit you will mistake but you are still beautiful so we say that to each other often to remind ourselves.

DeleteThanks for the great tip :)
DeleteChristina,
DeleteI would love to talk to you more about CD. This is my 5th year using it. The first 2 years were small baby steps. I love it and there are definitely areas where I have had to make adjustments because life does not always give you the Becky Bailey way of doing things. Would you mind if I emailed you?
