So the last few days have been nuts. The Germans (aka my Oma and her friend) are here and will be here for a month. My dad retired yesterday. It was an amazing party with tons of people; in fact the room was full and people were out in the hall! Shows you how my dad has impacted the community *wipes away a tear*
And then Relay for Life is tomorrow and Saturday. Tomorrow is my Oma's friend's b-day. Saturday after Relay I have an open house at a friend who shares my b-day with me as he has come back from the flying fighter jets. Also a BBQ that day.
And Sunday I pack for Vegas Baby and will be in Vegas for a week. Whew! I almost need a vacation for my vacation lol. I am a busy bee!
Hmm can't think of anything teacherish at the moment so I will post a recipe instead :)
3 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
1 Coffee Mug
4 tablespoons flour (that's plain flour, not self-rising)
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional) mini chips would be the best
Small splash of vanilla
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well.
Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
